A flexible, practical qualification for learners aged 14+
Making Skills and CB Tutoring & Exams are working together to offer supportive, small-group face-to-face theory sessions for the Pearson BTEC Home Cooking Skills qualification.
BTEC LEVEL 1
22 weeks of structured theory input
BTEC LEVEL 2
39 weeks of structured theory input
WEEKLY IN-PERSON SESSIONS

£15 per learner • 1-hour group session
Food safety • Nutrition • Planning • Budgeting • Cooking skills • Informed food choices
PRACTICAL LEARNING AT HOME
Learners receive practical recipes and supporting resources to complete at home throughout the course.
Practical cooking is completed with appropriate adult supervision according to age, experience and individual needs.
Learners build practical skills, confidence and independence while gathering course evidence.

Remote assessment of the practical element Certification following successful completion
NEED MORE PRACTICAL SUPPORT? 1:1 IN-HOME SESSIONS £40/HOUR
